People resort to them for similar reasons as heated tobacco. They are a less harmful variant than a classic cigarette, they look elegant, have no ash or smoke and can be used indoors. The difference between them is relatively clear. The electronic cigarette does not contain any tobacco.
Principle of electronic cigarette operation
An electronic cigarette consists of three parts:
atomizer - uses a mechanical pump to create an aerosol that we inhale battery - this serves as a source of electricity for the atomizer filling - or e-liquid Atomizer with filling - they are also often collectively referred to as POD systems, but we'll get to that later.
The principle of operation of an electronic cigarette is relatively simple. Pulling or pressing the button activates the atomizer, which uses a mechanical pump to turn the charge into fragrant smoke. The filling of an electronic cigarette does not ignite and it is therefore clear that the inhaled smoke is less harmful and contains less carcinogens than the flue gases of traditional cigarettes.

When buying an e-cigarette, we also need to think about which coating system is right for you. We distinguish two - MTL and DL. MTL is a classic form of coating we know from cigarettes. first we suck the aerosol into our mouths. then we inhale it into the lungs. MTL has a smaller air supply and produces comparable steam to a cigarette. Refills with a higher nicotine content are recommended for this type. The DL system works similarly to a hookah. There is more steam about knowledge and it goes straight to our lungs, like a deep breath.

You can get metal, plastic, and silicone, various lengths and widths, so that it fits perfectly in your hand. Of course, there are no limits to colors, but be careful when charging. The battery should last as long as possible, ideally all day, and charging from the station should not take too long. At various shops you will find a large number of manufacturers, among the most common: Blu, Liqua, JUUL, Logic, Joytech, Voopoo, Smok, Uwell, Vaporesso, etc.

The e-cigarette offers great creativity in the field of refills. You will either be satisfied with the ones that are being sold, or you will mix your own. But always be careful about quality, content and do not buy refills on the black market. In terms of content, e-liquid is mostly based on glycols and glycerols, ie liquid substances that have a sweeter taste. In addition, the refill for an electronic cigarette usually contains aromas, water, alcohol and some organic compounds. The most popular fillings are fruity and also those with a tobacco flavor, which contain only the extract from fermented tobacco, so it is not tobacco as such. The cartridge may also contain an optional amount of nicotine. Common nicotine contents in e-liquids are 0 mg / ml - 20 mg / ml.

Another frequently used term is the already mentioned POD systems. They were not charge and atomizer systems. We have two POD systems - open and closed. In the case of an open system that has been on the market for a long time, the user mixes the refill for the e-cigarette himself. Closed systems that come with disposable refills have been a novelty in recent years. Their main advantage is easier handling as well as the exact content and dosage of the filling.
